We select materials based on application profiles:
Polyurethane (PU) for high wear resistance and good extrusion strength in heavy-duty piston seals;

Material selection is validated with accelerated aging and tribological testing to ensure long-term sealing under mine-environment conditions. Pairing the correct polymer family with appropriate back-up rings and wipers is critical to life and performance.
We combine CAD-driven profile design with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimize cross-sections for dynamic sealing, extrusion resistance and contact pressure distribution. Gland tolerances, radial clearances and backup ring choices are checked against standard selection charts to avoid extrusion and premature wear. This engineered approach ensures reliable performance under high-pressure applications.
Our seals undergo: material aging / hydrolysis tests, dynamic friction and wear bench tests, extrusion resistance checks, and pressure-hold tests to client-specified pressures. Where required, testing protocols are aligned to applicable national and international standards. Providing test reports and material certificates increases uptime predictability for end-users.
